This book is very very very dark and taboo!! The triggers warning have been posted below. If you think you can‘t handle this book then don‘t pick it up. It‘s that simple. However if you are 18 or over and want to read it, I found it a fantastic read. I definitely don‘t recommend this book for anyone under 18 though. I couldn‘t put the book down, and lm looking forward to reading more of Tillie Cole‘s work. Vile and disgusting and a good read

SlytherinBookLady TRIGGER WARNINGS:

Child rape, attempted rape, child abuse, drugs, drugging children, giving children alcohol, pedophilia, murder, explicit sexual situations, violence, offensive language, edge play, knife play, blood play, mental illness

This was just released today and not in the database yet.

This is a prequel novella for Tillie Cole‘s new dark romance series...and it‘s going to be DARK! I love what she‘s got going on though. #romance #romantsy

CocoReads I bought it as soon as I woke up this morning! Not sure when I‘ll get to it but I‘m trying for sooner rather than later. 5y
CoverToCoverGirl Adding now! How does it compare to Hades Hangmen? As dark or darker!? 5y
Lauren_reading @CoverToCoverGirl it is way darker! This prequel isn‘t romance at all, just sets up the future books. 5y
CoverToCoverGirl You‘ve definitely piqued my interest now.. darker you say! 😱 5y

So messed up, but so good. It‘s kind of a romance, but a really dark one and it‘s secondary to the revenge story. Dolly and Rabbit are sexually abused as children and now go on a very crazy and graphic revenge spree. I couldn‘t put it down, but major triggers. #darkromance #kindleunlimited

CouronneDhiver Ick, I don‘t think I care for the title. 6y
Lauren_reading @CouronneDhiver I can see that. I wondered about it before reading the book, but in actuality it fits really well (but definitely not for everyone) 6y

Written by the same author of the Hades Hangmen, this was absolutely incredible. With two completely unreliable narrators, it's up to you to piece the scenes of the murders together for yourself. Not a romantic novel, but very much akin to "if cartoon Harley and Joker became serial murderers". It went from dark too such macabre descriptions that were hilarious.

This book is not light hearted with extremely detailed descriptions of sexual abuse.

CoverToCoverGirl @CocoReads and I will let you know what we think of this when we‘re finished our buddy read .. I‘m really nervous to take this one on .. 😬 I‘m sure it will be way outside my comfort zone but I do like Tillie‘s style. 😊 6y
CocoReads Looking forward to it even though it makes me nervous. On the upside, after my 3 hour nap I feel much better and I‘m almost done with 6y
Daughter-of-words So dark but I loved it!❤️🐇🕰 6y

theresidentromantic @Daughter-of-words I thought this was amazing in the way the perceived reality would slip in places. Like how she had an "English accent" but it probably sounds rediculous, since she had nothing to mimic but older memories of her mom. 6y
theresidentromantic @CocoReads @CoverToCoverGirl I'm a bit backwards in my comfort zone. Cheating absolutely freaks me, I'll probably stop reading the book. But you could get darker than dark and I'll probably still read every word if there's a promised HEA. I recognized this as really dark, but it didn't bother me (like it probably should lol) 6y
Daughter-of-words @theresidentromantic the amount of mental and emotional trauma that she had to endure broke my heart. This was definitely a root for the murderous psychos type of book! 6y
theresidentromantic @Daughter-of-words haha definitely! Although, I usually do, to a point. Not sure what that says about me 😂 6y
