@Mandigolightly as per your 1st Read of the Year, I also give thought to Last Read. This year I read Phryne series; saved this for my last read of the year. Beautifully illustrated. Phryne's independence & fashion are my favorite things. Plenty of that in these short stories. Loved pictures her shoes and cocktails! Also includes recipes. I'm gonna miss Phyrne. Hopefully one day Kerry Greenwood writes more of her adventures. #lastreadoftheyear 😿

What a fantastic collection! With Phryne Fisher short stories, cocktail recipes, 1928 etiquette, more beautiful art by the cover artist, Beth Norling & Jazz era food recipes, it‘s a fun read. If you‘re a Phryne fan, you need this, if you‘re not a Phryne fan, what‘s wrong with you? Go back to the start and try again. 5⭐️ #phryneappreciationclub

#BookMail Pt3 This is an illustrated collection of Phryne short stories, along with cocktail recipes & “interviews” with the Hon Miss Fisher herself! It has some more art from the cover artist Beth Norling as well as little sketches of her clothes, shoes & jewellery. Well worth a read💃🏻👗👠👒💍 #phryneappreciationclub

1. The Phryne Fisher series. 21 books and counting! She is my favorite book character of all time. I wish I could step into the series and be her! 💚
2. Nothing comes to mind. I read the original 3 books in the Divergent series (liked the first book and it went downhill from there), then watched the first movie and couldn't bring myself to finish them or the novellas.
3. Usually keep it if I love it.
4. Was in 3, now 0 😭

JenlovesJT47 Somebody reminded me about Sweet Valley books! That would definitely be my longest series read. I collected a new one every month from the time I was 9. Still trying to collect the whole series! 7y
kspenmoll Only read the first three but love her character, etc. plan to continue in order. Looking forward to it. May be slow as I am trying to use the library & different towns have different books in the series. 😀 (edited) 7y
CSeydel Ohhhhh I‘ve been meaning to read the Phryne Fisher books. I became aware of them when my parents started watching the show ... apparently someone on it looks like me 🤨 7y
JenlovesJT47 @kspenmoll that's good, you can take your time and savor them! 😀I am slowly rereading the series on audiobook, the narrator is great! 7y
JenlovesJT47 @CSeydel ooh I would highly highly recommend the books and the show, they're both great! 💚 7y

Having read the entire 20-book series of Phryne Fisher novels, I was ecstatic when I came across this book by chance last week. I didn't know it existed! It is a collection of short stories, or what I would like to call Phryne morsels, and also includes recipes and illustrations. I absolutely loved it! It helps while I wait for book 21 in the series. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #PhryneFisherIsMyRoleModel

rubyslippersreads I really need to get into this series (books and TV show) in 2017. 8y

My two latest audiobook acquisitions. I stumbled across this Phryne Fisher book by accident and I must say, I'm very excited! I've read the whole series and this one is a collection of short stories, prequels and recipes. I didn't know this book existed so I'm very happy!! Will probably have to get a hard copy. Also very excited about Anne of Green Gables being narrated by Rachel McAdams. Love her, and this is one of my favorite books. 🤓📚🤓📚🤓
