I‘ve only read the short story, The Birds, but it is ten times scarier than the Hitchcock movie. It has a different slant and fills the imagination with all kinds of horrible possibilities. Well worth the read. On to the rest. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

pickI really enjoyed this short story. The audio was very atmospheric with the music and sound effects. Great classic story that was a great palate cleanser.

It is the mundane reality of the horror (in the book version, not the film) a family under siege and a father desperate to keep them safe from a danger that cannot be reasoned with. ☠️ 3. My #UnpopularOpinion is that the written word is far scarier than any film. ☠️ 4. Ghosts ☠️ 5. At Christmas time, decorative toadstools 🍄!!
