#cozy
Thought I should read this next as my previous cozy mystery was Al Dente‘s Inferno. Play on literature- in Al Dente‘s case, more of a metaphor rather than any direct allusions to Dante‘s Inferno.

Couldn‘t sleep last night- gave up & got up at 4:30 a.m. so quiet.

lazydaizee That was an early start. 3y

Pickpick

What a delightful first in the series! Featuring a Latinx MC, this has scrumptious descriptions of food and cake and pastries, a la New Orleans. Rita wants a divorce from her husband, who operates a high end cake shop. But, she arrives at his shop to discover him dead. This was a fast read, and while I don‘t think every little detail was wrapped up at the end, I cannot wait to continue reading this series. #BakedGoodsOnCover #Booked2021

I love the one Saturday a month that the Binghamton Public Library has their book sale. After that I then head over to Chroma Bakery and buy some treats for the weekend.I got all these for $13.20. Pastries extra.
It's my favorite morning of the month.

AmyG I so understand. I miss my NJ library. They had the once a month sale...and then I would stop for bagels. 5y

The host for this month's book club (book=The Intuitionist) intuited that we might need a round of sheetcaking. "Sheetcaking is a grassroots movement, Colin"
