So many people love her and I wanted to so bad... but this book was just okay... I will try again I promise

I read this one a few years ago, but completely forgot about it until I was looking for a book to fit the tag #onemoretry. It's about a girl who goes back to her high school reunion, attempting to recreate the magic of her younger years. I remember loving the author's voice, but the main character, not so much. #junetunz

Eh. I was going to give this one a thumbs-down. I nearly bailed on it. The last ten pages were redemptive, but man, this was one of the most unlikable main characters I've read in a long time. And there wasn't much depth at all to any of the characters, main or secondary. It wasn't the worst book. But it was definitely "meh."
