4/5 for the last in this trilogy. What an ending to this trilogy. I was mad for some of this one. It ended nicely and wrapped up all the loose ends though. I enjoyed this trilogy.

Another brilliant historical realistic fictional novel from the great Melissa De La Cruz. Those familiar with the marital strifes of Alexander Hamilton and Eliza Schuyler will find this book all the more tragic, all the more heartbreaking, yet all the more familiar and heart warming. The strength of one‘s heart and the power to forgive is a lesson we all must learn, and one the wonderfully strong Eliza never fails in teaching us.

Read from 4/ 12 - 5/6

This was the final and in my opinion the best book in this Trilogy.

Overall 5/5

Characters 5/5 they might be flawed but they're written well.

Plot 5/5 not as action packed as I might have liked but I did love the story being told.

Pace 5/5 if I remember correctly the other two had some pacing issues. This one was a steady pace from start to finish.

Writing 5/5 not the best but it works for a wide audience.

I started the final book in this Trilogy this afternoon. I find the final books in series tend to be my favorite. After two chapters, I believe I can say the same for this.

Not really a fan of these covers. I find them a bit simplistic is the lazy way. But this is the end of the trilogy that is very popular in my neck of the woods.

SaturnDoo I do like the simple silhouette style covers. This series has been been on TBR. Maybe I should get to them soon. 6y
KarouBlue Popular in a good way?? 6y
LibrarianRyan @MellieAntoinette yes. The teens like them, and the author enough that she is on standing order. 6y
