I‘m honestly still developing my opinions on this book. I read an ARC from Goodreads. The character‘s were good, and they were why this wasn‘t a DNF. The plot was good, but confusing, and I kept spacing out while reading. The writing was good, and the style worked well for the story. I just wish I loved this book more than I did. I was excited to read it, but for me, it was a miss.

This was a quick book and overall a good story. I‘m saying four stars because the pace dragged at points. I would say this is between a pick and so so but I‘m going with pick.

I'm going to finish this book tomorrow. I've really loved it. I'm reading a lot right now, so some of the books won't show up in the currently reading. I somehow missed reading this as a kid. Also, I know I'm late but I'm going to try and get a few pages done for the #MarvellousMarchReadathon hosted by @Andrew65 .

Tagged: The book I've finished so far this month. This was excellent. I loved it so much and I can't wait to talk about it. I've loved the musical for years, and I loved reading the source material. For those not aware: this book is bot fun. It has some fun elements, but the overall tone is serious and dark. TBR for the month also pictured.

Barnes and Noble Book Haul books. I love Historical Fiction but don't read a ton of Adult books. I picked these two because I know I love the genre. Not pictured here are the books my mom got. The Book Haul tote is on the bottom. The third book is my planner. I love ot because it's set up like a Bullet Journal with weekly and monthly spreads.

Have you gone to the B&N Book Haul yet? If not are you planning to? What books did you get?

Ravenclawsbookshelf Tagged is the first book of the two I'll read once I finish a current read. 5y

Do you ever read a book and not enjoy it as much as you thought you would? Although when you reread the book you love it more than you did the first time? That is me with this book right now. I love it so much more now. Maybe it's that I know we have a new story coming out next month?

Liatrek I‘m still riding a high from reading this one earlier this month. I haven‘t put it back on the shelf because I keep wanting to read parts again. I can‘t wait for the next one ❤️ 5y

Full review will be on my blog soon.

Overall 5 stars

A sweet LGBTQ+ story about love and acceptance. I really enjoyed the characters and the plot. This book has not one, but two LGBTQ+ relationships. One is Lesbians and the other is a character who uses they/them pronouns. I enjoyed the diversity of the characters.

Warning
This has themes of Homophobia. It is done well but I feel a reader should know going on.

Overall 5*

Plot 5* the story was good and was one of the things that kept me reading.

Characters 5* the characters were another reason I kept reading. Sure, they were flawed but they embraced their flaws.

Writing 5* Taylor Jenkins Reid is one of the best in the business in my opinion.

Format 4.8/5
Around the middle of the book the format started to bother me. I don't know of other was a rough section or what. It didn't take the pleasure.

Read from 5/7-5/26

Characters- 5 stars

Everyone from the Romanov family you know to Zash, the Bolshevik who was their guard was a delight.

Plot 5 stars

So the plot of this book takes a new direction about halfway thorough the book, and this is great because otherwise it would be like a rehash of what you already know, and would have no original story paired with it.

Pace 5 stars

The was of this book was excellent.

This was the final and in my opinion the best book in this Trilogy.

Overall 5/5

Characters 5/5 they might be flawed but they're written well.

Plot 5/5 not as action packed as I might have liked but I did love the story being told.

Pace 5/5 if I remember correctly the other two had some pacing issues. This one was a steady pace from start to finish.

Happy book release day to this novel! I am 5% done. I read the first two chapters, but I have the Ebook, so it is easier to measure percentages, as opposed to pages. I love our main character Imogen. I was not a huge fan of Jess in Geekerella. However, I read a review that says she gets redeemed in this book.
