May Knox floats in space, the only survivor of a catastrophic accident. There is just one person who can save her: a man whose heart she broke, millions of miles away. It's Christmas Day, 2039. Silent Night drifts across the ruins of a wrecked spaceship, listing helplessly in the black. A sole woman, May, stirs within - the last person left alive of a disastrous first manned mission to Titan, the largest moon of Saturn. There is only one person who can help her - her ex-husband Stephen, a NASA scientist who was heading up the mission back on Earth. Until, that is, she broke his heart and he left both her and the mission. Now May clings to life and it is only his voice travelling across the fathomless miles that can bring her home. In this twisty, gasp-inducing thriller, when each breath is a fight for survival, love is the difference between life and death.

Panpan

This has the rare honour of being a double Pan. The first being a wry smile, gentle head shake Pan due to the sheer ridiculousness of it (top NASA astronaut smoking, drinking & 'how's your father' days before a mission?!) The second is a sharp intake of breath, disgusted frown Pan...

Who is responsible, author or editor, for misspelling the name of one the greatest astronauts of all time?!

'Neal' Armstrong?! NEAL?!

Not once, but twice! 🤦🏼‍♀️

paulfrankspencer Both are responsible. 3y
readingjedi @paulfrankspencer That neither knew the correct spelling is mind-boggling! My 7 year old spells better! 3y

Pickpick

A nice little sci-fi thriller... Not amazing, but gripping enough. +26pts (it's set around Christmas in the future) for #MerryReaders #WinterGames

This week's #weeklyforecast is cold cold cold with a chance of snow! Which means I'll be doing a whole lot of blanket fort snuggling with Charlie Waffles. Planning to finish the tagged book at least and may start reading something else but I'm also going to start writing again which usually means my reading slows down a bit.

Crazeedi Sounds like a great plan! 5y
Megabooks Precious! 5y
JazzFeathers That plan sounds super! What will you next book be about? 5y
valeriegeary @JazzFeathers right now I'm working on a magic forest book but I also have a murder mystery out with my agent right now so honestly I have no idea what will be next. I have nothing currently on contract with a publisher... 😆🤷🏼‍♀️ 5y

Mehso-so

Astronaut May Knox awakes to find she is the only survivor onboard the Spaceship Hawking II. It‘s down to May, the ship‘s AI, & May‘s estranged husband to get her home.

The first half was great but the second half sort of fizzled out. Disappointing for a book that had such a good start. 3⭐️

Thanks to NetGalley & publishers, Little Brown Book Group UK / Sphere, for the opportunity to read an ARC. #NetGalley
