This was greatly enjoyable. Some of the story could have been problematic but I feel like a plot twist (which I won't spoiler) dealt with it well and essentially removed it.

So I was interested in this book once I'd heard of it, though a little nervous...didnt know how id feel about it. However. I was pleasantly surprised the main woman is a spit fire and full of sass and not afraid to speak her mind. And though a romance I love that there was a great build in characters. All in all a good book and I am curious to see where they go on their next adventure.
I really enjoyed this #romantsy fantasy. It was a unique and original world and I really enjoyed the characters! Look forward to reading more of the series eventually. This is book 1. Also this is my #v for #litsyAtoZ @BookishMarginalia
I do not always know how to explain my taste- I do not like hallmark style romance, but I like my books to have epic love stories. This book was a fun read, with some world building- I wish there had been more, a protagonist I mostly liked, she was almost too good- and a storyline I enjoyed overall. It was a fast read and did not require a lot of thought.
I keep trying to get Litsy to add this book to no avail 🙁. It‘s 8 novelettes with a vampire & winter solstice/longest night theme. Heat levels are sweet to erotic. I have a 19k word historical fantasy romance included. Elizabeth Vaughan, author of Warprize, is our headliner. If you‘re interested, you can find us on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Kobo. Paperback happens in February 🥰
