This is the amazing conclusion to a 13-book series revealing the hidden world of the Kindred, the biggest event ever in the World of Darkness. Nosferatu Calebros goes deep beneath New York City to solve the mystery behind the murder of a Nosferatu leader.

Eggs Studied this film in college!! So amazing-great choice👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 13mo
dabbe @Eggs I think it's my favorite Dracula film. My husband and I LOVE silent films. METROPOLIS or THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI are favorites, too. How fun to study film! I never took a course like that but wish I had! 🧡🎃🧡 13mo
Eggs @dabbe B&W and/or silent noir films are one of a kind 13mo

I had to play Tech Support in the office today and since my ears had to remain readily available, a silent movie was the perfect companion. This guy in all his low-tech, black & white glory is creepier than anything a modern horror film can throw at me.

eeclayton Is this the 1922 film? 4y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick @eeclayton It is! It's available through Amazon Prime. 4y
eeclayton @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Thanks. I realized that it was a stupid question because the 1979 Nosferatu isn't silent. I plan to watch both and other Dracula adaptations after I finish the book. 4y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick @eeclayton Not a stupid question at all. I didn't specify and who knows how many other silent versions there could've been. 4y

Up next we have a classic and one of my favorites...

1922 silent starring Max Schreck, Greta Schroeder and Gustav von Wangenheim

Fun fact, this was one of the original adaptations of Bram Stoker's novel Dracula. Ever wonder why the names are different? Because the movie production crew went to Stoker's widow and asked her for the rights to the book but she denied them. Still wanting to make the movie, they simply changed the names.

kamoorephoto I love both versions of this!!! 5y
Bookwomble One of my favourite films, too. The widow Stoker win a court case for copyright infringement and most of the prints of the film were destroyed inn court orders. Thankfully for posterity, a few survived 🦇 5y
