This book is fascinating so far. And I love that I finally get to read outside 😎 #bookclub

This book was very interesting to me because
1) I have had several transfusions over the years because of my ❤️ transplant; and
2) it would have helped with an essay I wrote back in 2013 for my MA in Eighteenth Century Studies!

Not a quote from the book, but saw this on Facebook and thought, yep, sounds about right for us bookaholics! (Except substitute husband for parents in my case!)
Merci @bookriot for including me in your "100 Must Read Books on the History of Medicine." #11. Wow!

A selection of #redspines and nail polishes, because why not add extra red?! I have more red spines on books than I thought! @jess.how #17rainbowbooks
Haven't actually got round to reading either the John Green or George RR Martin yet!

My 'B' & 'T' for #LitsyAtoZ @BookishMarginalia. (Just noticed if I read my 'L' as well I'll have a BLT sandwich! 😂)
The other two are just the books I'm reading on @SerialReader, they don't belong to any challenges!
Prepping for "City of Light, City of Poison" I am busting this bad boy back out. It blends history, narrative, science, and mystery perfectly.
Tucker's book is a fascinating look at the politics, ego, religious belief, and fear that often characterize scientific work. I wouldn't advise reading it while eating.
