Amanda has an imaginary friend and his name is Rudger. What happens with Rudger when Amanda forgets him? And who is Mr. Bunting?
I know that if I had been the intended audience for this book, this would have scared me.
I think this is classified as a book for children between 9 and 11.
Rudger is Amanda's imaginary friend. Nobody else can see Rudger - until the sinister Mr Bunting arrives at Amanda's door. Mr Bunting hunts imaginaries. Rumour says that he eats them. In the veins of Gaiman's Coraline and Roald Dahl's The Witches, this is great story about friendship for middle graders.

Starting this one for company on my bus ride and flight back to Puerto Rico today.
At the bookstore with my fave people! Wasn't planning on purchasing any books... Ok, who am I kidding? Obviously I wasn't going to make it out empty handed!
I've read this book to my #kids twice and we absolutely #loved it. I thought it was brilliant, well written and very imaginative. #childrensreads #kidsbooks
I started this book because the cover looked awesome. Needless to say that was all that was awesome about this book.
