I am back in Oregon and after getting groceries, I snuck over to my old haunt, Beach Books! (Don‘t tell my husband. 😉) It just so happens they had the recently #WPF25 longlisted book The Persians, and in their ARCs for those who bought books, was another from the longlist, Nesting! I‘ve already read 3 from the list, so I‘m off to a good start!

I stopped by my former local bookstore and look at this! That‘s my review! 🥳 So now I know I‘m in the store even when I‘m not there! That gives me warm fuzzies. ☺️

So, in continuation from yesterday, I dropped an email to Karen, the awesome owner of Beach Books, and she told me to come by even though they are closed. Then she let me shop the ARC room! I got the stack on the left. Do you guys see what‘s on top of that stack?! 😲🤯🥳

So don‘t forget to stop by Beach Books if you are in Seaside and tell Karen I sent you.

(I picked up the other 2 at the bookstore in Cannon Beach.)

I tried to go to my former indie to shop while visiting the Oregon Coast but they are CLOSED FOR INVENTORY the entire time I‘m here! 😭 Shouldn‘t they have checked my travel plans first?!?

So I am comforting myself by reading with my trusty book mittens on, as it‘s a bit chilly here now.

Hooked_on_books @Soubhiville I was actually wearing them in the car. I was able to turn pages with my thumb fairly well. Once I got inside it was warmer. I think I‘m going to hit up Cannon Beach Book Co since Beach Books was closed. But I confess I emailed the owner and I‘m hoping she‘ll see it and let me go in the store tomorrow. I‘m ridiculous. 😬😆 5y
