Looking forward to a great afternoon.
Emma: "Nora is hilarious and very satisfying to read. She wrote everything: screenplays, essays, novels – and she was really good at all of it. I find that extremely inspiring. It's the kind of writer I'd like to be. I found the 'One Direction Test Your Super-Fan Status' book on a stoop in my neighborhood. It's has puzzles, quizzes, crosswords and more in it. I can read your horoscope if you like." #newyork

If you haven't read any of Nora Ephron's essay collections I highly recommend them all.
My #WCW is Nora Ephron. So based on my taste in pop culture, Nora Ephron shouldn't work for me. If someone just gave me a general description of her essay topics, I'd probably say 'oh that's nice' but internally say 'nope!'. I read I Feel Bad About My Neck and I Remember Nothing on a whim and absolutely loved both essay collections. I think it just comes down to enjoying her writing style. I love how her essays switch from wry to heartbreaking.
