The Twins at St. Clare's
The Twins at St. Clare's | Enid Blyton
11 posts | 15 read | 5 to read
A classic childrens story from the worlds best-loved childrens author, Enid Blyton. School life has never been so splendid. Pat and Isabel O'Sullivan plan to give everyone at their new school a few surprises. But it's them who are in for a shock . . . Watch out! There's trouble at St Clare's! Enid Blyton is arguably the most famous childrens author of all time, thanks to series such as The Wishing-Chair, The Faraway Tree, The Mysteries, The Famous Five and The Secret Seven. Her school stories including the St Clares and Malory Towers series are the perfect books for girls who are experiencing their own adventure at school.

#YouAndMeButMostlyMe makes me think of twins, for some reason.

The O‘Sullivan twins look a bit like “The Shining girls in the hallway” here. 😆😆

All the wonderful memories came back to me 💗 I absolutely loved this series as a kid. I now remember that I wanted to be called Winifred. I also wanted to go to boarding school. Never even heard of lacrosse before I read the book (sorry Canada), but I became quite obsessed with the idea of playing it. One thing I realize now is that Enid Blyton probably has the world record in using exclamation marks! Jolly good! ❤️💜💛

BarbaraBB I remember all those “mam‘selle”s (?) and that they always had to clean the rooms of the seniors 😀. Good memories! 7y

I loooooved this series as a kid. Must have read them 50 times. I totally forgot about the twins until last year. Today I found the books online and bought them. Is it smart to read them or should I just keep the perfect memory alive?
#smartorstupid Smart or stupid?

LeahBergen I say read them! ❤️❤️ 7y
JenlovesJT47 Read them! I'm working my way through my favorite book series as a kid, I love every cheesy minute of it! 😆 7y

#thetwinsatstclares was one of my favorite book series growing up and I probably read them like a million times. The german version was called "Hanni & Nanni" though and I "inherited" those books from my mom who'd read them when she was a teenager. So when I was about 12 years old and wanted to learn English, she also got me the English versions of the books, meaning these were some of the very first English books I read in my life ??
