Books I had at hand that include different kinds of mothers/mothering-
Happy Mother's Day to all; each one of us mothers whether it's children, friends, elder parents, a garden, a pet, a pot of flowers, a book-
"During the years when you knew nothing.
And I knew everything, I loved you still.
Condescendingly of course,
From my high perch.

These lines make me laugh as it was descriptive of me. I am not at home, but found this book/ poem I gave my mother for one of her birthdays in her "stacks". #poetry @TheSpinecrackersBookClub
