My #sundaysoapbox on recommendations is that I usually refrain from it, or prefer to encourage readers to explore and read widely. But I do recommend readers get into books from before 1990 because I feel the whole writing endeavor is just different then! Just watch my roulette!

I‘m not familiar with this author. Has anyone else read her work?
