This has been lingering from my Sept TBR pile and is due back tomorrow, so I finally made some time for it.
I‘m frustrated that I had to skip the 3rd book in this series because the library copies have all been lost, but I really liked this one, the 4th book. I love all the magical creatures, especially the house spirits, in this volume!
Nisses, Barghests and The Sparrow Scouts! Oh boy does Hilda have her hands full this volume! We get a peek into what would be a “Normal” day for Hilda if she wasn‘t busy trying to find and help creatures. Hilda‘s mother is trying to help Hilda adjust but things are bad and it does show how it‘s effecting both mother and daughter, but in the end Hilda‘s mother does know her daughter best.
Hilda is a graphic novel series and now is also a Netflix series 📚🦊
Book 4 in Hilda‘s series was a delightful palette cleanser after my last fat-book read.
There is a mystery around Trolberg that everyone is aware of (the Black Hound) and one that only Hilda has noticed (the Nisse). Find out where house spirits set up shop (it will make you look at your abode differently!) & see Hilda solve it all thanks to her affinity for the odd creatures no one else sees.
Plus, Hilda joins the Sparrow Scouts & chases badges😹
