Nerd-Girl confession: it always bummed me out that I would buy these big anthologies for my Lit classes in college, then we would only read, like, three things out of them. It wasn't about the money, but that I wanted to read (and have classroom discussions) about EVERYTHING. Cover to cover.
That's why I never sold them back.

I'm studying for a midterm covering literature from the Middle Ages. I'm required to remember all these random dates such as Beowulf was composed in 750 or estimated between 700-800 C.E. Also, I'm required to know the invasions dates, such as the Vikings invaded from 793 to 1066 and Anglo-Saxon was 350 to 550 C.E. I've never been required to remember dates for a timeline on a test. Let alone a college test. This is so weird. I'm nervous.
So glad I found this series in college. I only needed volunteers four and five, but it feels great to have the complete set and constantly be able to go back through so many short and sweet classics 💙💚💛💜 #Hardcore #EnglishNerd
