The Places I've Cried in Public
The Places I've Cried in Public | Holly Bourne
14 posts | 7 read | 5 to read
Amelie loved Reese. And she thought he loved her. But she's starting to realise love isn't supposed to hurt like this. So now she's retracing their story and untangling what happened by revisiting all the places he made her cry. Because if she works out what went wrong, perhaps she can finally learn to get over him.

Who doesn‘t love a cuppa tea and a cry! This was a thought provoking and heartbreaking read. It Highlights some really important issues that should be talked about more with young women and teenagers. Nobody should be left to cry in public alone 💜 #pick #reading #hollybourne

Stealing an idea from @StaceyKondla via @Sace via @RamsFan1963

I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join the fun if you want.
This is day 1 #bookstoread #tbrpile

StaceyKondla Thank you for joining us!!! I love checking out the TBR‘s being posted 4y

#Two4Tuesday
1. I remember my Nan taking me to the library when I was about 5 years old. I walked out carrying 4 books and was so proud of my shiny library card.
2. Tagged book...such an important book for young girls to read and take note of...love yourself first before anyone else

'The thing about undeniable truths is that the truth is never set in stone, so their undeniability always has a sell-by date. What is true morphs and changes as we turn the pages of our lives, morphing and changing ourselves as we inevitably lose control of what happens to us and the impact it will have.'

First time visiting the library in a long while! Decided to pick up novels I've heard endlessly good things about but haven't been able to buy myself.

I was looking forward to reading this as so many people had recommended it. I wasn‘t disappointed! A delicate, first person narrative going back in time and moving forward trying to figure out and understand what happened. The author has sensitively wrote using a young persons perspective to approach the subject of abuse and its effect on one persons life....a book that should be read by every young adult-both male and female. A great read 👍🏻

I‘m a newbie on Litsy so learning the ropes. Any hints or tips would be appreciated! I‘m sure I‘ll get the hang of it soon. The quote above is literally what I said to myself last night at 11pm....can‘t wait to read more of “The Places I‘ve Cried in Public” tonight ❤️
