Look what arrived today...my door prize from the #24in48 #readathon ! How cool too that it‘s on the shortlist for the Man Booker prize!

August is Women in Translation Month! This novel was long listed for the Man Booker International Prize. It‘s by Chilean author Alia Trabucco Zerán and translated by Sophie Hughes. (It‘s important to give the translator credit, too. They work hard!) It comes out here on Tuesday and I hope to read it today, because Pierce from Book Riot told me it‘s “creepy and gorgeous,” which is smack dab in the middle of my wheelhouse.???
