In the fourth in Vivien Chien's Noodle Shop delicious mystery series, Ho-Lee Noodle House is ready to take the Cleveland night market by stormuntil a brand-new food venue literally explodes onto the scene. Lana Lee is all smiles when the first evening of Clevelands Asian Night Market kicks off the summer. The weekly festival is always good for business, packed with locals and tourists, and this year, some stiff new food-truck competition. Wonton on Wheels, run by old friends of Lanas parents, promises to have customers lining up for their delicately wrapped delightsuntil the truck blows up at evenings end. Lanas boyfriend, Detective Adam Trudeau, had been planning a birthday getaway for the two of them but, lo and behold, Lana must assume the role of amateur sleuth yet again. With one proprietor of Wonton on Wheels dead, its beginning to look more like murder and less like an unfortunate accident. And as they begin to unwrap layers of disturbing secrets, Lanas own family erupts into new drama. Will Lana be able to solve this crimeor has she jumped from the wok right into the fire? Thoroughly entertaining...fun and delicious.RT Book Reviews

Speaking of series and more tea themed washi tape, I'm still loving the Noodle Shop mysteries.

3.5⭐ I'm not generally a cozy mystery reader, but I do enjoy this series. It was a nice change of pace from the heavier, darker books I'd read recently. This was book 4 and was a solid story. I like this series more with each book, and I already have the next book in the series on my ereader and am looking forward to it! #cozy #cozymystery

This series is delightful. This is the fourth book in the series, so it‘s hard to talk about without spoiling earlier books, but it‘s full of the same family, friendships, and ill advised sleuthing as ever! 🥟

Thoroughly enjoying this series. Picked it up on a whim but now can‘t put them down. Read until my eyes bleed but in an hour, I‘m picking it back up for more. Kinda like Chinese food, an hour later you‘re hungry for more!

Finished this up after getting all my herbs planted in their new pot homes! The fourth book in the Noodle Shop Mystery series, this one follows Lana trying to solve the murder by food truck explosion of the husband of one of her mother‘s former friends. I love this series and this was a fantastic addition!

Dollycas‘s Thoughts - - - Wonton Terror is a wonderful addition to this series! I would encourage you to start the series from the beginning but the author does a great job at including enough background to read each story on its own.

I think the first three in the series were better. This one felt a bit more like a formula to me. I still like characters and will keep reading the series.

Picked myself up #somethingnew last week when I was at Barnes & Noble looking for a book to read for my class‘s big book review project! I‘m especially excited for a Christmas themed cozy but am going to show restraint until December 😂. #selfimprovementsept @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @OriginalCyn620

OriginalCyn620 The titles are great! 😂 5y
