pickI absolutely loved this book! I‘m so so SO happy I picked it up! I feel like this book has been seriously under hyped. I haven‘t seen any reviews from anyone I follow on bookish social media and I hope to see that remedied soon! This is the queer, teen, witch story, I have been longing for since the movie, The Craft, hit theaters in 1996. It‘s raw, unapologetic, and dangerous. I couldn‘t hit the preorder button for The Scratch Daughters harder.
pickIf you are looking for a YA witchy girl posse read this is for you. Descriptive and ensnaring. I loved every dark teen angsty moment of it and am looking forward to its sequel!

In December, I don‘t have to read any new titles for episodes of All the Books! because we do wrap-up and preview shows, so it‘s kind of a free reading pass month for me. No idea what this book is about. Hadn't even seen it until last week. And the cover may be plain, but I love the color play and the darkness and imaginary that make me think pagan sacrifices.

Time to knuckle down and finish off the (almost) last book from the April TBR. I'm enjoying this but I think I am over the contemporary-style witch books 🌕✨ They just aren't gritty enough for me.
