My husband and I finished the Beaton (fun — typical Hamish; but I didn‘t like the doctor nor the view of women presented in this particular book — the only acceptable woman seems to be a happy housewife) & the Butcher books on our way home. I finished the Gaiman one in bed tonight. Enjoyed them all. #cozyinthesun @Librarybelle @ferskner
I really enjoyed this title!
There was quite a bit more mystery in this book than the first few i feel and it was very gripping!
I loved the story line and the description of the 'perfect wife' and i enjoyed reading about how another character tried her utmost to be exactly the same as the perfect wife despite her years of feeling she wasn't good enough!
Brilliant read!
#CurrentlyListening to the third book of the #HamishMacbeth #cozymystery series. My third in as many days. Nothing earth shattering, just warm and pleasant — exactly what I need right now.
