Well-written fantasy with some excellent world building, diverse characters, witches and warriors, a lot of court intrigue and bit of goriness and bad stuff happening; but also a romance, and I mean the kind with super hot sexy times. 🔥

Be warned: this IS The Beginning of a series of 4, so a lot of set up.

First in an amazing fantasy romance series. I received my signed copy two days ago and I was unable to drag out the reading of it. Because #kristenashley is one of my top five favorite authors! This is a super character populated read so pay attention so as to not get confused. Pour a cup of tea and be prepared to be useless until the book is done! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
