First time with this author, boy have I been sleeping! This was intense, imaginative, haunting, and emotional. Did not expect the twist ending. Immediately had me checking out his other books, and I‘m so glad there are many to choose from!

Pretty good thriller! I read it very quickly and was engrossed with the story. I was a little sad when I realized that I figured out the big picture of how it was all going to turn out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I picked up this book simply because my brother-in-law lives in Thief River Falls, Minn. Thankfully it‘s a library book and I didn‘t spend any money on it. My review: Meh. I figured out the ending almost immediately and only finished the book to see if I was right. Not much of a thrill in this “thriller.”

The first book I've thrown. I felt so cheated by the ending. Ending ruined the whole damn book.

Excellent story. The plot keeps you engaged throughout

This was a free book through Amazon First Reads earlier this year. I'm really glad I picked this one though. I love a book where the main character is an author, and this psychological thriller had a great twist at the end which made it even better.

Bonus points for the twist at the end.

This book had me saying “what the heck is going on” quite a few times while reading! I have never read a Brian Freeman novel before, but I will read more in the future! This book did not disappoint! This was a definite 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!

Fast-paced, twisty, and much better than I had anticipated. A nice vacation (and much needed) from reality.

This is probably my favorite book so far this year! This book shines a light on what grief can do to the brain if not dealt with appropriately. I loved it! It might be pregnancy hormones but the ending definitely made me cry! Definitely recommend!!

Loved this one! One of the best thrillers I have read in a long time.

Really enjoyed this book. The end definitely didn't turn out how I thought it would.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book was incredible. I enjoyed every minute of it! I absolutely loved the plot twist, it took me by surprise! I definitely saw the clues placed throughout and knew something was up, but couldn‘t quite figure out what. Also, I totally cried at the last few chapters. Excellent read!

Un-put-down-able is a word, right?
