Slow to get started but became a page turner ,
Laura returns from maternity leave to find Mia her temp is here to stay. A deadly fire in the office building leads to a body being pulled from the wreckage.
The police want to talk to three women:
Janie, the devoted wife of the CEO.
Mia, the agency's fresh new talent.
And Laura, a loyal employee of many years.
All with a deadly secret
Another fast-carbs binge of a read for library's book group. It's not a book I would have chosen for myself but I'm realising this sort of thing is enjoyable so long as I can wolf it down! I wouldn't have wanted to spend any longer in these characters's heads, and it began to depress me how the three capable women were intent on taking each other down, when flabby-natured Harry was at the epicentre of their woes. (Ugh, internalised misogyny! 😒)
A story full of suspense about three ambitious women tangled in a web of lies. Laura, a new mum is returning to work at an advertising agency after maternity leave. Mia, the maternity cover isn‘t going anywhere upon Laura‘s return. Janie, the CEOs wife is questioning decisions made in her life.
I loved the fact the author told this story from three perspectives. A good solid read, interesting characters and touches on some sensitive issues.
New book tonight and wearing my new glasses too 👓📕
A book letter a day!!
Three women, one man, and then a fire that burned down the entire building two of the women work in.
THREE PERFECT LIARS was quite tense and oh so good.

Excited to dive into my #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin picks for January!
My Kindle is charged and I am waiting on Elsa! We live about a mile from the beach so we don‘t except storm surge to reach us, just a lot of wind.
The story is told by chapters from the POV of each of the three women. There was one major flaw in the whole thing for me - Harry is the catalyst but the women all took their issues with him out on each other. Just once I would like women in fiction to work together. Apart from that, it was a very pacy book which kept me reading it. A good 3.5 stars (rounded up to 4).
I didn't really care for this one like most others did.
It just fell short.

Thanks very much. :)
You won‘t want to miss this one!!
There is jealousy, hatred, and a sinister undertone from the opening page…all good traits for a thriller.
