My husband and I broke out laughing so many times! Maggie‘s family turned their plantation into a B&B. With a full house an obnoxious couple both die the night of a big storm. One it turns out was a murder. The local sheriff is enjoying their troubles too much and spreading the investigation out for as long as he can, so Maggie begins her own sleuthing.

I don‘t know about you, but I hate reading a series out of order. Book 3 is a choice for #MistletoeManiacs for #WinterGames2021.
So, I figured I‘d read books 1 & 2 first. They‘re Free Space books for my November #BookSpinBingo 🤓

If you subscribe to Audible, book 1 is a free “Included” listen.

Clwojick Oo I haven‘t read anything by this author yet! I hope it‘s good! 2y
TheAromaofBooks I also can't deal with reading books out of order!! 2y
StayCurious Even when authors claim a book is a “standalone“ I still check to see if there are others that come before it...I'm obsessive about it haha

Nessavamusic Hmm, I am the same way, may have to check those out. They are all on Hoopla for me! 2y

Bailedbailed

I'm batting .000 with the #cozymysteries today! I just don't understand why authors write 30+ year old characters but then have them think and act like teenagers. It's a pet peeve of mine and I always bail when it happens.
