I didn't enjoy the story or artwork as much as I did with the first volume (which had different illustrators). Still, this was a good #scarathlon pick, with all the Halloween and supernatural elements.

Library is empty and I didn't have much to do tonight so I decided to kick back and catch up on my Buffy comics (since they are finally in the system). It is interesting to see how they have taken my favorite show & characters and kind of flipped them.

I read this on Feb 2 and gave it 3 ⭐️. You know what makes the first season of the TV show awesome - even if it‘s dated - is that the story telling is tight. Yes there are monster of the week episodes but the first season has a killer mythic arc. This reboot is all over the place. I think I said it about the first volume, fans of the characters don‘t need to be catered to this much. I didn‘t like this volume as much and the art has gone downhill.
