This is a great poem that highlights how we should support change and stick up for all people not tear any of them down.
I received an ARC of Rachel Reid‘s April release, and since it‘s the culmination of something she‘s been building since day one I figured I‘d treat myself to a full series reread before I dive in.
I finished GAME CHANGER tonight while I waited for this delicious but boring-looking double chocolate banana loaf to bake. Now my heart is full of LOVE, and I‘m all gushy over Kip and Scott, and I can‘t wait to revisit everyone else‘s stories.

1. Nope. My husband and I don't do valentine's day. I did buy the tagged romance for myself last week though, as a treat since it was on sale. Hopefully I'll like it!
2. Fake dating/engagement!
Only reading time so far today was audio book commute to and from work. Tagged book is my current audio. About to hold down sofa with pizza and books for #scarathlon #teamstoker #readathon #24B4Monday
Ooh, friends! GAME CHANGER starts off so cute I just about died of it, then gets all swoony romantic, then mines some serious TENSION before it finishes off with a glorious blend of all of the above. I laughed and cringed and had about a zillion feels for Kip, stuck in the millennial trap, and for Scott, closeted and scared and deeply in love. 5 stars.
I‘ve got another thought I don‘t consider a spoiler but you might, so it‘s in the comments.
Good news, friends: my leg seems to be all better! I biked yesterday and today, and I‘m gonna try running again real soon.
Further good news: today‘s 40-minute ride took me to the halfway mark with GAME CHANGER, and I‘m totally in love with it. Excellent purchase, Past Me.
I decided to sample some queer books this weekend, and I‘ve finally got a winner! The first scene of GAME CHANGER by Rachel Reid was so cute I didn‘t hesitate to shell out $2 for the full thing.
The others I tried were AMERICAN DREAMER by Adriana Herrera, which started with WAY too much, “As you know, Bob...” for me, and NEW INK ON LIFE by Jennie Davids, which was my tattoo shop nightmare on the page and thus too anxiety-inducing.
I've been indulging my puerile tastes in m/m #romantsy this weekend. Plenty of hockey here and 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙀🙈
