pickI admit I have more appreciation for those entries that convey moments of awareness and appreciation of nature rather than those which appear to be admonishments, lessons.
I feel like a spirituality which is an appreciation for nature doesn't need additional theological help or preaching, but it seems in this volume that Oliver is still grappling with something a bit more institutional/organized.

pickEver since Mary Oliver died, I have been reading from her works that I have not read. These are the titles I have downloaded on Overdrive so that I can continue hearing her joyful song, celebrating the beauty of a blade of grass, or the thrilling taste of the wind. Each poem in the tagged book made me feel blessed to be breathing in the world. What a gift. For Lunar New Year‘s Eve, I will bask in the glory of her verse. #Poetry #WomenReadWomen2019
