Good book. It was a slow start but then picked up quickly.

I did like this book, although there were some things that bothered me. Kate was not very nice a lot of the time, so the only reason I can think of that Ben pursued her was she was beautiful. He was also huge, as the author described over and over that his physique was big and muscular. I get tired of that trope… how many men are truly ripped with 8-pack abs?
The political basis of the story was interesting and timely in an election year.
4/5 ⭐
An amazing enemies to lovers story! It was sexy and satisfying. A very modern love story that will hook you up from the beginning to the end. It felt so real. The chemistry between these characters was over the roof. A really fun and light read.
After crying a river at the end of You've reached Sam. I decided to read something light. Hopefully, it will be funny too. I love enemies to lovers. ❤️
As opposed to it's title this book has no "middle ground" Ben & Kate decide at some point to ignore their completely different morals, there‘s no compromise or discussion. Like I said, they stop talking about politics. Yeah, that‘s healthy.
Another thing throughout this book that tested my patience is Kate's character. Kate is a parody of a feminist who can‘t take care of herself & exists only to lust after Ben. I can't recommend this book.

1: When me and my mom went shopping after a long time.
2: Well, here in India autumn stretches along September and October and it's called 'Patjhad' in hindi.
3: I won't be reading much unfortunately. I'm preparing for a university entrance exam and will be busy for a while, so, wish me luck, I guess.😄

You're doing great.🍻
Okay. I‘m surprised by how much I liked this.
I‘ve avoided this one because our lives are inundated with politics, why inject it in my escape? But honestly I should have known better.
I‘m a big fan of the “opposites attract” trope so this was a hit for me and made me want to rewatch The West Wing 😅
First book checked off my #bookspinbingo for September
This was a cute, quick read. Your typical enemies to lovers trope. I saw some bad reviews on Good Reads but it seems like most did not actually read the book. It is a small bit political (he's Republican, she's Democrat, both working for Senators in DC) but I do not think it was overly done or forced. Things mentioned in previous review was literally half a sentence and then the story moved on. Overall, I enjoyed reading it to pass the time.
It's "Be Nice to Writers" Month, but I just... can't with this one. ARC and a quick read, but this book that looks bipartisan reads like a love letter to the GOP - the flighty, close-minded Dem femme is saved CONSTANTLY by the caveman-tactic Republican farm boy, after he pushes her to go to the gun range and heckles a finance speaker. The awful communication is just a side note. Not a favorite by any possible stretch.
