I'm enjoying this series a lot. This is the 4th installment and I'm proud to announce that although I'm usually an irregular series reader I've stuck to these books and been reading them consecutively without an interruption. I just can't seem to get enough of Veronica and Stoker!❤️❤️ Definitely a pick.

Mitch Totally agree. It‘s one of the only series that I‘m totally up to date with ! 1w

4.5⭐
So I just finished reading Corrupt by Penelope Douglas, the first book of the Devil's Night series. It's a dark romance. The thrill of being chased, the seductiveness of danger, Douglas was able to convey them on page effectively & I have to say she has clearly outdone herself this time. This book was not at all what I was expecting but not everyone can digest this book & for that she is very brave as well as an extremely talented author.

This was my first KA Tucker book, but I promise that it won‘t be my last. The writing, the setting, the messages, the romance? It was all perfect in my eyes.
This book also shines a spotlight on found families and platonic love, too.
The overall message of this book is so important and so beautiful. We have to let people live the life that they want to live. We don‘t have to agree, but we can always be supportive and try to be empathetic. 5⭐

I love slow burn novels. When a novel builds up to the eventual consummation, I feel it's so much sweeter. This is one of those books that'll make you believe in soulmates. Out of the five Mariana Zapata books that I've read, I enjoyed this one the most.

Its one of those incredibly written books that you never want to put down where you are immersed in the story & connected to the characters right from the beginning.
Another thing that you should know is that TJ‘s cancer does not come back. This not a story about that. I‘ve heard some people say that that held them back from wanting to read this book so I‘d like to dispel that worry here. This is a beautiful love story with a very happy ending!

Mara Dyer is a telekinetic 17-year-old who unwittingly murders people with her mind.
Wow. This was a mind-blowingly unsettling part pnr part sci-fi series and one of the bests I've ever read. Mara Dyer is a villain but "Every villain is the hero of their own story".
There wasn't much development in the story in the first two books, in the third every mystery started uncovering but nonetheless, all three books are extremely gripping. 5⭐

Hello, Littens! It's been so long since I posted a review, I really hope you guys haven't forgotten me.

Okay, so The Spanish Love Deception doesn't offer you a unique plot but it does give you a taste of what you'd call an ideal love story. Yeah, ideal you know the ones that only exist in the fictional world? As depressing as that is, ironically this book isn't depressing. I'll give you three reasons to read this book:

1- Aaron

This book definitely wasn't for me. I gave up on it thrice and took me months to finish reading it. I kept putting it down because the whole time I was reading it I couldn't stop yawning. The only reason I stuck with it is because I really liked the male-lead character. I've been reading so many bad boy romances that it was a breath a fresh air.

Just finished reading the final book of this phenomenal series. I loved it so much and I'm so sad that it has ended even though the ending could not be any more perfect. I was so engrossed in these books that a few times I found myself forgetting that it wasn't real, because it felt so real. I recommend it to everyone who hasn't read it yet. This story is about Khalid, the Caliph of Khorasan, who takes a new bride each night only to have her executed at sunrise. When Shazi's friend becomes the Caliph's victim, she volunteers herself with a plan to outwit the evil ruler and exact revenge. Shazi delays her execution by weaving enchanting stories for Khalid & promising only to reveal what happens next if he'd let her live another day.

Vi Keeland's stories are so tumultuous and go to dark places I didn't expect. And there is something so powerful in the way she writes the emotional content of her romance and the novel, overall was very entertaining. It's about trust, overcoming fears, letting yourself be vulnerable, and taking risks. The characters were sweet but they also possessed the strength of steel and the chemistry was perfect. A solid 4 stars. 🍻

This book is truly a masterpiece. It had me gripped from the beginning, so multifaceted and unlike any other books I've ever read especially due to the oral history storytelling of Daisy Jones. it's full of timeless quotes, glamourous scandals, and heart-breaking loss & I also was left so touched by the exploration of addiction & how Camila handled the situation. There‘s something about forbidden romances that tests & pushes & makes you questions your original stances on it
Birthday Girl, an age gap romance, was that novel for me. I thought I would be uncomfortable reading it but she handled it beautifully. The message is brilliant and the story worth reading and so relevant to the struggles teens face today with bullying and losing your identity to fit in. It's message about staying true to yourself and not conforming is very important. The story is well written and executed and is sure to bring on big feels. I hope the author does print a “PG” version so young girls and boys can enjoy this story as well, though.

This is the sequel to 'Bring Down the Stars' & I loved it even more. This duet is filled with all the feels that make a story stick with you, & I know it'll stick with me for years to come. The poetry again was beautiful. I was blown away by how much these books impacted me, the feels, the angst, the emotions, were to infinity and back. My heart was shattered so many times but it was put back together again, their story was wrapped up perfectly.

I loved the complexity of it's characters & their relationships. Kristen's reluctance to share the truth with Josh gets really frustrating, but the way he handles it, & the way the other characters in the book do as well, felt realistic & not part of some glossy romantic fantasy. Like the other books in this series, the emotional complexity in this one kept me so invested that I devoured this book.

You're doing great.

marleed I absolutely loved the lack of melodrama in this romance. Can we send this book to the Hallmark Movie Channel for a study on how to do it right! …The cover, lovely as it is, doesn‘t really do the story justice. 4mo
damselsgotballs @marleed I agree. The cover does seem a little mediocre, for a story as beautiful as this.🍻 4mo

As opposed to it's title this book has no "middle ground" Ben & Kate decide at some point to ignore their completely different morals, there‘s no compromise or discussion. Like I said, they stop talking about politics. Yeah, that‘s healthy.
Another thing throughout this book that tested my patience is Kate's character. Kate is a parody of a feminist who can‘t take care of herself & exists only to lust after Ben. I can't recommend this book.

1: When me and my mom went shopping after a long time.

2: Well, here in India autumn stretches along September and October and it's called 'Patjhad' in hindi.

3: I won't be reading much unfortunately. I'm preparing for a university entrance exam and will be busy for a while, so, wish me luck, I guess.😄
