⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I‘ve never read a book by Hiaasen before but now I want to read all of his books 😆 I really loved this satire on the former president, his followers, and how this country abuses and takes advantage of wildlife. It was fun yet handled serious topics with respect. Really enjoyed this one.

I‘m probably not the best person to review a Carl Haissen book since Ive read him once before and didn‘t care it. I‘m just not a fan or his type of humor. It‘s obvious and silly.

Making fun of silly wealthy women and tromp is easy. I like my humor more clever like Grady Hendrix. Satire. Just a matter of taste.

I haven‘t stopped laughing since reading the jacket blurb. 😂 I am SO grateful to the library patron buddy who told me I needed to read this. #squeezeme #carlhiaasen #totallyfictitiousorangepresident

Great book! Hiassen's novels are so much fun!

The vibrant colors proved to be too hard to resist. Plus, having now read multiple rave reviews, as well as having a friend recommend it enthusiastically as a perfect book to read right now, I decided I could use a book that would make me laugh. A few other books to finish first but I hope to get to this one soon!

Amazing as always!! Hiaasen spins a story about a wildlife capture expert who gets caught up in a murder investigation involving a Burmese python, an illegal immigrant, a wealthy enclave of Palm Beach widows and a president who seems awfully familiar! Hilarity and chaos ensue, predictably!! 😂 Another home run from Hiaasen and his friend Skink. 💜🐍🤩

If you know Hiaasen, you know he‘s a fervent environmentalist who can‘t stand greed and writes 🍌👖books. This is classic Hiaasen for the Trump era, beautifully skewering the Cheeto and his supporters. I snort laughed my way through it. Fantastic!

One of the most political books I've ever read from Hiaasen, other than his essay about how much he hates Disney... lol
It's easy to see how Hiaasen feels about the current administration, even if he only uses codenames for POTUS and FLOTUS... 😂😂
