The Jane Austen Society | Natalie Jenner
Pickpick

It was well written and beautifully inspired by Jane Austen.

Jenner has a beautiful way of writing that depicted different characterizations that reminded me, in some instances of Austen's work, but not to copy or be in comparison of, but just like a nod to them, while creating great depth and characterization to each one that I just couldn't help but find loveable - Except for Jack.

Mehso-so

I enjoyed this well enough. The characters were interesting and likeable, and I enjoyed the setting and the Austen references. But I didnt think too highly of the plot - it dragged a little for me and the character pairings at the end were mostly too easy. Felt like the author relied too heavily on catering to fans instead of telling a story. Somewhat forgettable #Pemberlittens
