This is one of only a couple of Jasmine Guillory‘s books I hadn‘t read, and I‘m so glad I finally did. This romcom combines my favorite things, fake dating and hilarious content. I loved every minute of this

My #BookSpin list for February is full of romance books that I bought last year and didn't have the headspace to actually read. (My friends opened an indie bookstore in September and I had to make sure they survived!!) 🥰
In January, I read four books (so far), three of which were on my January Book Spin list, so I'm feeling pretty excited for this next round!
Sleeping, like #SirWatson , is what I should be doing, instead. It is 2:30am and I have just finished a book.
This book was an incredibly quick read, but a read that made me happy. I love that the relationship in this book showed that accepting a person at their worst is a big part of loving someone.
Coffee, flower transfer, now reading on my deck.
These could technically all be read as stand-alone books but I love finding previous characters in each new book and this one, #6, sets up a perfect opportunity for Dawn, the newly discovered half sister, to have her own story. We'll see if that happens. Open-door romance with a positive lens on mental health needs.
Low pick. I loved the mental health rep (therapy is no big deal) and the family relationships, loved seeing Maddie and Theo show up. But the leads didn‘t quite work for me. Ben felt by turns immature and avoidance-prone, and way too mature and wise beyond his years. Anna was ok sometimes but overall seemed really selfish and oblivious to anyone else‘s needs. I graded up because I love the series and there were enough good things, but not my fave.

#4: Read a book in any genre by a POC that‘s about joy and not trauma
💕 Cute, joyful story about love, swoony main characters who were polite, smart, and nice the whole way through. I need to read more from this author!
I have enjoyed the books in this series but something was off for me with this one. I loved the male character Ben but Anna, the female lead, was annoying and selfish. I wasn't 100% sold on their romance by the end.

I loved Ben and Anna relationship until we got to temp break up before we make up scene. I don‘t know Anna response to Ben just felt forced for the situation. This is an enjoyable series and I still hope for more books. It was nice to get an update on two of our former couples.
Another fun, flirty read from Jasmine Guillory!
This was a cute relaxing story that was a lot of fun to listen to in-between all the non fiction I have read and the scifi I will soon start in December. Great narrator for the audiobook and a very cute story. 5 ⭐ #LastReadOfNov #Romance #November
Really enjoyed the latest in this series! Ben is an ad exec and Anna is an actress, and when they meet on the set of an ad campaign they are both attracted to each other but not looking for anything serious. But they are both mature adults and I liked how they came to deal with their issues.
"Two people realize that it's no longer an act when they veer off-script"
“Just because I may not able to speak a word to anyone else before I drink an entire cup of coffee does not mean I‘m not a morning person! I love mornings! I just love observe them from my bed, that‘s all!”
Ben works in advertising and is beyond surprised when Hollywood Star Anna not only picks his pitch for her next campaign but flirts back. Fake dating ensues, even though they‘re already hooking up so we all know where this leads.
A sweet love story with well done representation for mental illness. Mutual growth and support throughout, chefs kiss.
Jasmine Guilllory continues to reign supreme when it comes to adorable, low-drama romances. An actress and ad lead begin a secret relationship that turns into a publicity stunt to help her career even though their feelings are very real. Cute and feel-good and even features some good anxiety / mental illness rep!
He's in advertising, she's a Hollywood starlet. Her personal life is stressful, and they decide to fake date for the paparazzi. I wanted more Hollywood luxury in this book, but it was nice to see two people band together to support and help each other out. Very cute, and as long as Guillory writes these cute books, Imma read em🤷🏾♀️
Don't read a Jasmine Guillory book with an empty stomach.
Another excellent instalment with smart, competent characters with smart, witty banter and smart, relevant commentary. I love it.
Cute, charming, sexy as hell and just what I needed in a book!! Loved everything about it!
Starting a new book today! I‘m in a Jasmine Guillory kind of mood.
I haven‘t read a Jasmine Guillory book that I didn‘t love and this book was no different. I loved Anna and Ben and how sweet they were to each other. Another thing I love about Guillory‘s books is how characters from her past books make appearances in her other books. I enjoy seeing those characters again. Can‘t wait to a see what she writes next!

When Ben goes in to pitch for an ad campaign he has no idea that movie star Anna will be in attendance or that their chemistry together will off the charts. Anna has high hopes that she is about to get the role of her dreams and has to stay on track while dealing with the intense stress of a life in the spotlight. I loved this. Ben and Anna are wonderful together and the emphasis on mental health really added something special.

EDIT: Ended up finishing Paper Palace. Pulling another option of my TBR list to take its place.
So cute, so fun, and so hot! I absolutely loved Ben & Anna, so much chemistry! I was a little worried that shenanigans would happen, but nothing did! Instead, they worked through issues like functioning, if slightly flawed, adults. And I love that they addressed mental health issues.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 I really enjoyed the new installment in Guillory‘s Wedding Date series! This one follows Theo‘s brother, Ben, and Anna, a movie star. It was fun to have that celebrity element, and there was great focus on mental health in this one as well.
Guillory definitely stepped the spice level up on this one, which did make sense for the characters & was well written as always. Definitely glad I found this series & is one I‘ll always recommend!
Another winner from Jasmine Guillory!
When Ben‘s ad agency presentation impresses actress and spokesperson Anna Gardiner, a relationship blooms as the two are thrown together.
Not going to give more away, but this was great!
I loved The Proposal but became kinda judgy of Jasmine Guillory‘s sophomore submission. But by the third book I fell in stride and anxiously await both the next tale and the supporting character that might star in a story to follow. Theo‘s brother, Ben, shared star billing with Anna in this one, and the result was a fun Notting Hill vibe!
Starting this today since work is slow. Also listening to Troy by Stephen Fry audiobook. Happy day.
