I have always believed in the paranormal, loved strange things, and had experiences. As a kid, I couldn‘t get enough of it. Now, I‘m a Medium! I love hearing other stories. I have seen a few of these episodes but truthfully, I prefer the more personal shows with story telling like, Paranormal Witness, Paranormal 911, The Haunted, etc. These seem more relatable, authentic. Who doesn‘t love a good ghost story? This book is about Amy‘s life ⬇️

I‘m a skeptic, but was open to reading this and hoping for some profound insights on life and death. Unfortunately, this does not offer that, and was not an enjoyable reading experience either. The chapters had interesting titles, but the content didn‘t align with the points Bruni was trying to make. It was choppy, repetitive, and read like expanded synopses of her show‘s episodes (which I have never watched). Disappointing, and not spooky. 2⭐️

I finished my #BookSpin. It was ok. She offered some interesting theories and information. I like reading about some of her experiences. I also listened to her interview on Ghosted and watched an episode of her show today.

I‘ve watched pretty much every paranormal show Amy has been on and I think she and Adam make an incredible team. Their show Kindred Spirits is why I subscribe to Discovery+.
I liked Amy‘s backstory and learning how she even came to be interested in the paranormal and how it was actually pretty normal for her growing up. I can certainly appreciate her perspective and wanting to help someone in need - even if that is from beyond the grave.

Love the show, love Amy Bruni, but... This book needs extreme editing. The chapter titles are snappy and interesting, yet the content is choppy, unfocused, and doesn't give new information beyond what you see in the show. Basically the intro about Amy's childhood paranormal experiences was great. It should have been an article. :(

I've been binge-watching Kindred Spirits, so this is the logical next pick.

I am not normally an audiobook fan, but I had a free credit and really wanted to read this book. I ended up listening to it while driving to and from my gentleman caller (6.5 hours round trip). I love the author and the shows she had been on (Ghost Hunters and Kindred Spirits). It was an enjoyable listen!

I have no idea what the 13 truths are but I ALWAYS enjoy a story of a ghost encounter. There‘s lots of info in this book about ghost hunting equipment, the author‘s experience on ghost hunting tv, and how her current show is so different from other ghost hunting content (it‘s not). I still liked listening and would recommend this to friends who also enjoy a spooky story. #ReadYourWay
