This was a love story inside another love story. One in the present and one in the past. The one in the present didn‘t hold a candle to the story that took place circa 1940-ish. I was so there for Scarlett and Jameson‘s story…it was swoony…and reminded me of the movie Pearl Harbor…especially since they both revolve around WWII. ⬇⬇⬇

Yarros doesn't disappoint yet again. You get a dual story of Scarlett and her granddaughter Georgia both have an incredible love story that gives you all the feels. Scarlett and Jameson's love takes place in England during WWII while Georgia and Noah's is present day. It's about the story we wish we would right for the people we love and the story we have to write for ourselves.

The Things We Leave Unfinished is an excellent book with two great love stories. This book is emotional. The book alternates between Scarlett and Jameson‘s love story during World War II and Georgia and Noah in present day Colorado.
