One book away from a second filled #BookSpinBingo card. Short, quick holiday reads, several kid‘s books & a lot of time for audiobooks made this possible.

I really loved this! A grumpy old man in a huge house is talked into hiring children to come spend the holidays. 3 adorable moppets come to visit, the littlest capturing the old man's heart. Also, the audio I listened to was narrated by Richard Armitage, so... I mean, his voice alone makes any audiobook good. :) #WinterGames2020 #MerryReaders #HolidayReads @Clwojick

Finished The Christmas Hirelings yesterday morning and tried to listen to Holiday Spice... but the audio is terrible! A male narrator narrates the book, but then a female narrator pops in and says anything spoken by a female character- but it sounds like she's in another room or on the phone and it's just awful. Glad I switched over to Love You Like Christmas! #WinterGames2020 #MerryReaders @Clwojick 551 pts.

I wish I had read this earlier. It‘s a sweet book with a bit of a surprise ending. And I‘m adding Richard Armitage to the list of people Who could read anything and I‘d listen to it. +286 #MerryReaders #WinterGames #FestiveFlicksBingo #Winterathon #MerryBookmas #ChristmasSpiritReadathon #BookspinBingo #LittenListen #CrushtheRush #BookmasBingo #BookishBingo #TistheSeasonforReading #ChristmasReadathon #TheBookDemocracyBingo #ItsColdOutside

Sir John agreed to Danbury‘s hare-brained scheme to hire children to bring Christmas joy to sedate Penlyon house, but Sir John got far more than he bargained for. Somewhat predictable, but it is an adorable story narrated perfectly by the marvelous Richard Armitage. If you need to get into the holiday spirit, this one‘s for you.
