Thought it was cute. I love the whole theme of “self” with “acceptance” being important.

My fake party college name was Paloma 🕊️🥰 (this was before smartphones and all that and you can be totally anonymous)— aging myself :)
Here‘s my #bookspin and #doublespin picks. My double spin is actually a reread for a book panel I‘m on so that one will definitely be read this month. Pretty good start I should get both of these done! @TheAromaofBooks
There are quite a few reviews calling this bland/trite/superficial. I didn't find it that way at all! I went in expecting a cute F/F AI/human romance, and what I got was a subtle, somewhat sparse (but not in a bad way) story about chronic pain, trauma, art, seeing, self, and belonging. #graphicnovels #romance #sf
When you thought your graphic novel was going to be a cute Sapphic AI/human romance and it turns out to also be a kinda harrowing chronic pain and trauma journey
Library graphic novel. Apparently it's a Sapphic romance between a human and an A.I.
On my hook : first sleeve of the recycled-denim ripple pullover. #litsycrafters
Two young interns—one human, one robot—at an art gallery in future NYC hate each other‘s art and are prickly with each other. When forced by their boss to collaborate, their distrust fades as they get to know each other. Sweet, quiet, queer romance portrayed in manga-like full colour art. #YA #LGBTQ #comics
Tensions between older-style robots and the new (expensive!) human-presenting kind add realistic texture to this seemingly simple story about a relationship between a human and a robot.
The two main characters in this graphic novel are Fawn, a human-presenting sentient robot, and Indira, who‘s South Asian American. This page gives you a good idea of JR Doyle‘s manga-like artwork. There‘s a lot of deep purples and pinks throughout.
Starting a new book today, which happens to be Pancake Tuesday, and I grabbed a random bookmark out of my huge stash. What are the odds that it would be a bookmark with pancakes on it? 🤪
