Today‘s plan was morning groceries, cleaning through my bookcases whilst the little one went with grandma for a few hours, cook dinner for their return, then time with coffee and this amazing book. Plans change abruptly and unexpectedly so now instead I‘m eating chewit like sweets with little one whilst we have the serious discussion of which is better, drumsticks or fruit salad. 😹🤷🏼‍♀️🖤 #sci-fi #scififantasy

A huge thank you to Julia and @titan_books for the early copy of Exile‘s Throne for review, as well as the prior two books in the trilogy. These sound and look extremely fun and engrossing, so much so that I hope you will forgive me whilst I neglect my other review copies and start these right away!? 🙊

The author rushed the romance, didn‘t develop the world very well, and the characters had random emotional changes with very little explanation. Also, it really bothered me that the women warriors, supposedly superior to other cultures in this universe, where being barely able to function without their male counterparts. Too many plot holes, and poor character development. I will not read the next book. 2/6 stars. An easy read, but blah

I liked this book a lot. To me it reminded me of "Diabolic" by S.J Kincaid. 4/5 stars

Im really enjoying this book so far. Im almost half way through it and the second book to this is waiting. I love reading by the christmas tree🎄📖☕

As I read this I kept wondering what it reminded me of but never came up with an exact answer. It is fun and whooshes along like a roller-coaster. The premise of princesses fighting for the chance to be empress is hilarious. There are so many other things going on in this book too: espionage; betrayal; war-fare..it's very exciting!
