Maybe because I didn‘t read book 1 I‘m not getting the hype for book 2. It was an ok read and had an ok cast of characters but it‘s been a book I‘ve picked up and put down a few times and finally committed to finishing. Sweet and ok. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ #100readchallenge #romantsy #marchreadinglist #readingchallenge2022
Delightful! Swoony and fun with the perfect cinnamon roll hero! Love the PNW setting and the quirky cast of characters! #Pantone2022 #Poocorn @Clwojick #joyousjanuary #readathon @Andrew65
This is the sequel to Written in the Stars and all the characters appear in it. This came off as manipulative instead of sweet. Brendon and Annie reconnect after 8 years when Annie came to Seattle to tell her bff, Darcy, she was moving to London for a promotion. The rest of the book was 4 people peer pressuring Annie into moving to Seattle, a city she's never lived in, because Brendon and her were meant for each other...after 2 weeks of dating.
I didn‘t read the first book but I enjoyed this book.
These are not the best written novels, but I enjoy them.
I read WRITTEN IN THE STARS last year, about Elle and Darcy who fell in love despite being opposites. Darcy's brother played a significant role in that story because he owns a dating app and believes in true love. In HANG THE MOON, it's his turn for romance, and with Darcy's best friend, a woman he had a crush on as a teenager.↘️
I absolutely loved this book. Annie and Brandon were in the authors first book Written in the Stars so I was excited to see them get their own book. I loved all the rom-com references in the book. Brandon has created his very own dating app. But has never found love. Annie doesn't believe in love. Can Brandon show her that love really does exist? They had such a fun journey to love. This was my #doublebookspin from this month.
