What did I just read??? OMG so freaking good! I can‘t wait to get my hands on the rest of the series. Kell and Lila are amazing characters and the world building in this book is really clever. I see a trip to the bookstore in my future. Like later this afternoon future! #readingchallenge2022 #Marchreadinglist

Fr3NcHtOaSt I loved this book. Have to read the rest of the series but right now I‘m really digging into a new reading goal I‘ve set for myself. 2y
KristiAhlers @Fr3NcHtOaSt I love reading goals! Yeah this book was an impulse purchase and I‘ve got to tell you I‘m so not sorry about it 🖤 2y
Fr3NcHtOaSt Well I had seen it at the bookstore plenty always read a few pages and never gave it a chance. Then just tried it again and was instantly hooked. And the reading goal is read all the Star Wars books. https://www.yodasdatapad.com/booklist.html 2y
KristiAhlers @Fr3NcHtOaSt fun challenge! Happy reading! 2y

For the publishing year 2013 I selected this one. This book covers the insanity that is this “religion.” Call it what you will this is a cult and it‘s beyond disturbing what goes on and how people are willing to turn their backs on their loved ones for this terrifying group of people. #19822022 #readingchallenge2022 #marchreadinglist @Librarybelle

AmyK1 Have you seen Leah Remini‘s show Scientology and the Aftermath? My family and I are watching it now. Seriously disturbing. 2y
KristiAhlers @AmyK1 yes! OMG I‘ve seen all the seasons. I cried so many times when I heard about all the abuse and brutality with how they just cut a family member out of their lives. So so sad. 2y
AmyK1 We are in the middle of season 2 but yeah. So hard to watch sometimes. 2y
Librarybelle Good choice! 2y

I had been waiting for this one for a good bit and finally got my hands on a copy. This book read so fast! The characters are insane (I mean seriously some should be considered certifiable) the twist too many to keep up with. Which led to a complete surprise at the end! My only complaint is the almost too tidy ending for something that was so messy and twisted. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #readingchallenge2022 #marchreadinglist

wanderinglynn Love your pillow! 💙🤍❤️🇫🇷 2y
KristiAhlers @wanderinglynn thank you! My mother in law made this for me for Christmas a few years ago. When we lived in Belgium I‘d go to Paris almost every weekend. I miss that city so much! 2y

I have to tell you I‘m a little burned out on all the books now set during WWII and came to this with a meh feeling despite the fact I love this author. I ended up really enjoying this one as the characters were ones that truly came alive for me. #readingchallenge2022 #marchreadinglist

Maybe because I didn‘t read book 1 I‘m not getting the hype for book 2. It was an ok read and had an ok cast of characters but it‘s been a book I‘ve picked up and put down a few times and finally committed to finishing. Sweet and ok. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ #100readchallenge #romantsy #marchreadinglist #readingchallenge2022

If you haven‘t read this author you MUST! Her writing is so lyrical and her characters are ones you want to take the journey with. This is a fairytale-esq story combining Princess and the Pea, a little Cinderella and her own unique myth to make a page turning story. Made it onto my keeper shelf! #100readchallenge #marchreadinglist

This is a new to me author and the second book of hers I‘ve read. I must say she‘s not afraid to go dark with the storylines but there is something so intriguing about her characters. A solid dark romance. #marchreadinglist #readingchallenge2022 #romantsy

I truly enjoyed this book so much. Set in Paris it‘s a story about second chances at love, ghosts, and ballet. Again a total Kristi Book to Read! #balletread #romantsy #marchreadinglist #readingchallenge2022 #100readschallenge

ALL. THE. STARS! I truly wasn‘t sure if I was going to like this one. Bought it was a great deal of trepidation. OMG so very good. I laughed and cried. Written through emails, texts, blogs it tells the story of Iris who dies from cancer but manages to still bring people together after she was gone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #readingchallenge2022 #marchreadinglist

⭐️⭐️⭐️ not horrible but not amazing. But now I can say I‘ve read the whole “After” series. I‘ve enjoyed the characters and I appreciate that the author made them flawed. #readingchallenge2022 #marchreadinglist #romantsy
