Holy fucking shit....

I tried SO many times with this book over the last year and could not get into it at all but you dont give up on your fav author! Finally got the audiobook and flew through this. What a ride! Full cast and sound effect audio made this such an immersive experience. Still a little more military base - government conspiracy theory than I like my books to be but once I found my medium I was addicted! Definitely go audio here.

It's Friday and you know what that means? Yup...ANOTHER freaking snowstorm. I really don't know where we are going to put it all at this point. 😕 A little bit of snow day comfort food is definitely in order today so chicken stew it is!! 😋

I loved this! J.D. Barker is the king of suspense. I would say this is an excellent sci-fi thriller. I was engaged all the way through!

I usually don't set goals for #readathons but I have some books I want to cross off my list. I'm hoping to get through my previous months unfinished #bookspin and #doublespin picks (tagged book not pictured as I'm too lazy to walk upstairs) as well as get Nevernight done and finally read The Assassin's Blade. Not into novellas, but I paid for it so why not 🤷‍♀️

Totally different book than I thought it would be. I do have to say it's more horror/sci-fi. I never read sci-fi, but this actually kept me enthralled.

It makes you wonder about if all this could really happen. I just hope I never hear the noise!
