This continues to be one of the best and most imaginative graphic novel series that I've ever read. Kippa will always be my favorite character. 💚

We finally learn quite a bit about who Zinn is and things that happened in the past. It ends on a big cliffhanger and I was excited that I already had the next volume so I didn't have to wait.

As always, the artwork is stunning.

booklover3258 I agree Kippa is the best. I always say if they kill off Kippa I will no longer read Monstress. 5d
Addison_Reads @booklover3258 I agree. If Kippa goes, I go. 5d

In this volume the war and battles continues. Maika finds out more about Zinn.

I love Sana Takeda‘s illustrations.

This reminds me so much of Titanic. Anyone else?

Ann_Reads Yes, very much so, except maybe the sharks. (I'm just assuming they are shark fins.) 4w
AnneCecilie @Ann_Reads I think they are too. There‘s something about the angles she has drawn. 4w

Kippa is one of my favorite characters in this series. The drawings of her and her sister are so cute that it‘s easy to forget that they are in a refugee camp.

No surprise that a volume in this series gets another Hugo Best Graphic Story nomination. Gorgeous artwork with a complex storyline.

Got this in the mail the other day and I've already finished it. Can't believe how good this series is. How long do I have to wait for volume 7?
