Considering I worked all weekend, I‘m pretty happy with my #20in4 stats! I will admit to spending a lot of time on book tube and Netflix over the past week, so this isn‘t bad.😅 The only DNF was True Crime Story, and my favourite of the bunch was Mixed Plate. All around, a perfect weekend!

📣She‘s always fantastic, would‘ve liked a 2nd narrator, though.

This is pretty good, with nearly perfect plotting that both revealed and kept me guessing along the way. I think because of this, I was able to mostly overlook the wishy-washyness of the characters. Did I find the ending a tad preposterous? Maybe… Did I question the wife‘s motives? Sort of…yeah. Was I entertained despite these issues? Quite a bit, actually.

Finally diving into this one!

@SilversReviews and I discussed this book briefly. I gave it 5 stars, she gave it 4. We very seldom think differently. She felt this one was a bit far fetched. When I think about it she might be right. Now, I listened to it and she physically read it. That may have been a difference. But either way you can‘t go wrong!

Happy Publication Day!! Palmer‘s latest thriller hooks in the reader from its panicky start! Michael returns with dinner to his family‘s NYC hotel room- but they aren‘t there. All that is left is his son‘s beloved bear & his own suitcase. Following two timelines & both the husband & wife‘s perspectives, the storyline here contains some jaw-dropping moments as secrets unfold. The sleeplessness adds to it all, making this quite the absorbing read!

This book is like an amusement park ride with its ups and downs and whips to the left and then to the right. A couple of times I was so sure I knew who the villain was just to find myself not so sure. Action-packed and intense, hard to put down.

My Wife Is Missing is a fast-paced novel full of twists and turns. The story unfolds along two timelines seen through the eyes of the two main characters. Michael and Natalie. I greatly enjoyed the style. I didn‘t really enjoy the audiobook as much as the novel. Karissa Vacker really grabbed my attention during the climax of the novel, but I honestly could not stand the voice she used for the dialogue of the men such as Michael.

A family vacation turns into a nightmare for Michael Hart when he discovers his wife and two children have disappeared from their New York City hotel room. Horrified, he fears they've been kidnapped. Are her fears about Michael valid or a symptom of her condition? But who can she trust when she can't even trust herself?

Y‘all need to get this book! It‘s an amazing read with twists and turns and an ending you don‘t see coming!! The characters are well written and well developed without being too over bearing. DJPalmers books are a must if you like great endings you don‘t see coming!!

Since that was her plan, why did she leave not even two hours after arriving and without her husband?

Once again, DJ has got you on the edge of your seat for the entire read! The twists and turns keeps you guessing what's the truth and what is a lie. I have loved DJ's books, his books never disappoint. The characters are well developed without taking too much time or getting boring. His stories have stories within them that keep you guessing. The twists and turns keep on coming to the last page.! Thank you DJ for another amazing story!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this from DJ Palmer and St Martin‘s press. It‘s been a while since a book has sucked me in from the very beginning. I started it tonight and am loving it so far.

Yahoooooo!!! I don‘t win often but when I do it‘s books!

Hop in and buckle up! This is a book that is one wild ride filled with more twists and turns, and faster than a first rate rollercoaster ride! Hold on tight because you will not see the ending coming on this one! I loved how this book twisted through secrets and lies into a masterpiece psychological thriller that you just wanted to savor!
