Watching YouTube: Extraordinary Videos by Ordinary People | Michael Strangelove
6 posts
Michael Strangelove provides a broad overview of the world of amateur online videos and the people who make them. He describes how online digital video is both similar to and different from traditional home-movie-making and argues that we are moving into a post-television era characterized by mass participation. --from publisher description.

A YouTube recommendation I actually like to see pop up. I‘m borrowing inspiration from Benghis Khan‘s video to brainstorm what to read next throughout September.

I have a question for you, my lovely Litsy followers. If someone were to start a Youtube channel devoted to books and mental health, what is the likelihood you would subscribe and actually watch?

olivia.ferz I would! 🙋 5y
HeatherOnThyme Very likely. 5y
Scochrane26 I would if it wasn‘t too long. 5y
magyklyXdelish I would ☺️ 5y

Interesting video. I know I am a slow reader and I'm okay with that as long as the book is good. I will speed/skim through a slow part to see if it picks back up.
