pickI liked more the second story, story of Juliette & Roma was a bit too love-y dove-y for my taste and I also adore murder mysteries set on a train. I also liked Benedikt and Marshall as characters more relatable.
I loved atmosphere of both stories and the stories were entertaining and fun.

Both of these novellas in the set, A Foul Thing & This Foul Murder are solid & they both answered questions from previous books as well as brought up new ones. Makes me excited for Foul Heart Huntsman as I love these characters. & this series.

Finished a little early, I think I liked This Foul Murder better than A Foul Thing plotwise, but both show case good relationship dynamics and witty dialogue.

here I am again, reading Chloe Gong‘s new book within days of release and having to sit and twiddle my thumbs for months waiting to find out what my faves are up to. If they‘re together, or hot on the trail or even alive. LOVED seeing the characters from the first duology in these novellas and setting up their presence in the last book in this series.
