A thriller set on Catalina Island. My husband and I both enjoyed this one.

⭐️⭐️⭐️
This one had a great cold opening that hooked me right away, and I couldn't put it down for the last 15%... but everything in between really dragged for me. I almost bailed many times, but was just a little too curious to see if my theory about the killer's identity was right. I was close! Satisfying climax, but annoying characters and a slightly triggering pandemic backdrop made it difficult for me to get through.
That moment when you realize there's over 150 pages left of a book you're barely enjoying.

Fiction lovers know you don't need to go to the non-fiction aisle to learn new things. So I thought this would be a fun way to spread knowledge through novel love 😍
Here's mine: Catalina Island (CA) is mostly car-free. At the time of this book, there was a 14-year waitlist to be approved for a full-sized vehicle! (I Googled it. It's now 25 years)
This one doesn't have great reviews, but I am a couple chapters in, and very intrigued.
A gripping tale of horror, murder and modern day racism. Coco (Colette) returns to Catalina after 20 years, leaving after her family was brutally murdered now a “beast” is murdering the elderly women on the island and Colette must survive and try to stop them
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, it was terrifying, emotional and absolutely thrilling. A must read for anyone who enjoys suspense.
Wow, what a read! Coco returns to Catalina Island where her family was murdered when she was 16. She hopes to resolve issues, but instead finds crazy things going on that again everyone was ignoring.
This book‘s description has me hooked!!! “The result is a novel that has the charm of Gilmore Girls and the trappings of The White Lotus.” WHAT?!??
Amazon first read coming through!
