A really good holiday book! The author did a great job articulating the story - it‘s very vivid.

I very much enjoyed this, my second book from this author. A heartwarming read, with lots of great dialogue, lots of moments that made me smile and some that made me laugh, a couple that made me tear up, and of course lots of Christmas spirit. I'm definitely a Susan Mallery fan.

3✨I finished my first Book Nook while reading the tagged. It had multiple points of views on different walks of life. They did grow through the story, but man it took them forever to do that growing. There was a mother daughter relationship that I related to, but all the conversations were on a repeat. “You hurt me, you were the mom, etc” several times. As it did with all the other conversations. #HolidayBookDragons @LiseWorks

Merry Christmas friends!!! Quick and easy read about a big blended family and friends working their way through all the feelings and Christmas!💚🎄❤️ Loved the family dynamic, strong matriarch Momma, the characters, and sweet cabin setting. #WinterGames2024 #HolidayBookDragons #WGWordSearch 219

This was the perfect weekend read to really prepare me for family gatherings of the holiday season. The writing was so vivid & humorous that I felt like a part of the story and the characters were so real I felt like I was part of the family. If you like stories with the perfect blend of romance, family drama, and the curious interaction of family relations all coming together, than this is a book you don't want to miss.

This is a solid if predictable Christmas story. It has the large group - some family, some friends, and some unexpected guests - all forced together in close proximity. They fight and make up and all come together to celebrate the holidays by the end. It has most of the usual tropes but did include a few more modern touches; an older female character and a younger love interest, a character with IBS, childhood trauma not often dealt with. ⬇️

A cute family Christmas story with a lot of heart and plenty of festivity!!
